About Us

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to create a welcoming community where women can make time for themselves, support one another, and build meaningful friendships through running, fitness, and shared experiences.

What We Do

GP Mother Runners brings women together through:

  • Weekly Sunday group runs

  • Saturday member-led training runs

  • Race meetups and training support

  • Strength and wellness programming

  • Book clubs and social gatherings

  • Volunteer opportunities

  • Local business partnerships and member discounts

  • Community events throughout the year

Whether you're running your first mile or your fiftieth marathon, you'll find encouragement, accountability, and friendship every step of the way.

Beyond the Miles

Some of our favorite memories happen after the run.

From race weekends and coffee meetups to book clubs, wellness workshops, strength classes, and community events, GP Mother Runners is built on the friendships that form when women support one another.

The miles bring us together.
The community keeps us coming back.

The Inspiration Behind GP Mother Runners

When Carolyn Bollozos returned to Grosse Pointe after living in San Francisco, she missed the sense of connection and community she had found through local running clubs. What began as weekend runs with a few friends quickly grew into GP Mother Runners—a welcoming community where women can prioritize their physical and mental well-being, pursue personal goals, and support one another through every season of life.

Today, GP Mother Runners brings together women of all ages, abilities, and experience levels through running, fitness, social events, and shared experiences. Carolyn's vision remains simple: create a space where women can move their bodies, build meaningful friendships, and discover that they don't have to do it alone.
